Comedic Writing Sessions

A get together of local comedians and comedian hopefuls.

This is a casual meetup to bounce ideas off each other for standup bits. If you're new to writing standup and you'd like some advice from more experienced comedians this is an opportunity to do so without having to be onstage yet.

What to expect:

The session kicks off with a comedic writing game, followed by a 10min writing sesh then a chance to go round the circle bouncing ideas off fellow comedians, everybody gets a chance to share with no judgement.

Having another perspective can help you see why you're punchline isn't working or what angle you're not seeing yet, plus sometimes it's just fun to riff with other comedians...
