Writing

Learning to write a joke is half the battle! Join our weekly writing sessions to learn a little about the craft of comedy and meet some locals in the scene.

Trying standup for the first time can be a daunting endeavour. The most common phrases we hear on the open mic circuit is:

"You're so brave!"

"I don't know how you have the confidence to perform in front of so many people!"

 

It can be hard to take that first step but here at FACE Open Mic Comedy we're determined to help you overcome that fear and nurture you through these beginning stages.
